Sports in Seychelles

Football is the most popular sport in Seychelles. Other sports include basketball, volleyball, and cycling. The Seychelles national football team is controlled by the Seychelles Football Federation (SFF). SFF is a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The home turf of the team is the Stade Linité stadium with a 10,000 capacity located in Roche Caiman, Victoria Seychelles.

Seychelles first participated at the Olympic Games in 1980, and has sent athletes to compete in most Summer Olympic Games since then, missing only the 1988 Games when Seychelles did not respond to the invitation sent by the IOC.[1] The nation has never participated in the Winter Olympic Games.

To date, no Seychellois athlete has ever won an Olympic medal.
