The 13th edition of the CJSOI Games officially got underway with a vibrant opening ceremony held at the Paradise Arena on Saturday, marking the beginning of a week-long celebration of youth and sport in the Indian Ocean region.
Despite sporadic rain showers, the energy remained high throughout the evening, with the youth of Seychelles lighting up the venue through colourful cultural performances.
Each participating country was represented through traditional dances and music, all performed by local youths, offering a rich tapestry of the region’s heritage.
The lively atmosphere has set the tone for an exciting competition ahead, in capturing the spirit of the Games through movement, music, and enthusiasm.
