The Weightlifting Federation is one of the first chosen discipline for the 2025 Games to make use of funds available to participating teams.
A sum of just over RS117,000 was dispersed to them last Friday for training and competition overseas, kickstarting their cycle till next August.
During a presentation ceremony at Stad Linite members of the CJSOI Committee explained that the sum is covering all expenses for the displaced delegation, including flights, hotel stay, participating fees and insurance throughout their travels.
