Senior Project Officer

Senior Project Officer Aldo Rose joined the National Sports Council during a period of significant challenges, with many of the country’s sports facilities in need of serious renovations after falling into ruins over time. In spite of his tender age, he quickly demonstrated encouragable qualities in navigating the challenges associated with a number of projects an in the short time he has been at the helm of the Project and Maintenance section he has displayed strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to get things done swiftly. He has proven to be a valuable asset, ensuring that sporting facilities across the country remain in top condition for athletes and the community as a whole. His responsibilities within the department include overseeing facility upkeep, managing maintenance budgets, coordinating with contractors whilst managing NSC’s own group of maintenance workers. Mr. Rose is a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the team, committed to enhancing the sporting experience for all Seychellois in ensuring the successful completion of various facility renovation projects last year, which include the renewal of the tennis courts at the complex at Roche Caiman, the relaying of the running tracks at Stad Linite, and ongoing efforts to give the Palais des Sports a complete overhaul.
