Throughout his career, he has been a driving force behind the Council’s initiatives to combat obesity and promote “Sports for All”, implementing programmes to increase physical activity levels across all age groups, supporting community-based sports initiatives and advocating for policies that promote healthy lifestyles, contributing to the development of national strategies for combating obesity. His deep understanding of the organization’s history, its challenges, and its successes provides invaluable guidance and perspective to colleagues and leadership.
