Lucas Georges

Director of Corporate Liaison and Games

Albeit a pariah of the current cycling scene domestically, Lucas George’s name remains prominent in cycling in Seychelles and beyond. Having dedicated his life to the sport, his passion for cycling once transcended the local scene, propelling him to international prominence as a respected figure in the global cycling community. He has served as an International Director for prestigious cycling races in Africa and beyond, being one of a rare number of technical sporting directors to be produced locally. Beyond his international contributions in cycling, Mr George plays a pivotal role in the administration of sports in Seychelles with his insights and experience having earned him an executive berth on Africa’s Union Sports Council (AUSC) where he now directs sports policy not just domestically but across the African continent. He is a respected voice within the African sporting community, which sits well with his role as Corporate Liaison which involves networking with national and international entities. He combines the role with the responsibility for major Games, having served the function internationally at various turns in cycling previously.
