The Palais des Sports is the premier indoor sports arena in Seychelles, fittingly located at the Roche Caiman Sports Complex in close proximity to other important venues. Officially opened in 1993, the facility was established to provide a modern venue for indoor sports and has since become one of the country’s most important multipurpose sporting complexes. With a seating capacity of approximately 2,000 spectators, it caters to a wide range of disciplines, including basketball, volleyball and handball.
Designed to international standards, the Palais des Sports is equipped with a main indoor court, training areas, changing rooms, and administrative offices. The arena has hosted numerous national tournaments and international competitions, making it a centre for both elite athletes and community-level activities.
