Seychelles’ swimming sensation Angelina Smythe continued her golden streak at the CJSOI Games, claiming her fourth gold medal in just six races after three days of competition.
Her latest triumph came in the 200m backstroke — her specialty event — where she once again proved untouchable in the water.
Team Seychelles’ girls relay team also kept the momentum going, earning a well-deserved bronze in the 400m medley, further highlighting the strength of the squad.
In one of the day’s most inspiring performances, Dorianne Bristol defied expectations to win bronze in the 400m freestyle, becoming only the third Seychellois swimmer to earn an individual medal at this year’s competition, alongside Smythe and Anthony Morgan.
The swimmers exploit from the third day of competition brings their total to 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze.
