The bulk of the country’s delegation for the 13th African flew off to Accra, Ghana earlier today.
The team of some 30 athletes and officials are expected in Accra by midday tomorrow, 24hours ahead of the opening ceremony due on March 8.
They will be met in Ghana by officials from the local secretariat who are in Ghana already to pave the way for their smooth arival.
The rest of the delegation, around 20 athletes and other officials will join the group on the 11th, due to their involvement in the latter stages of the competition.
Those competing early will fly back into the country on March 14th and the lasts of the delegation will return on March 25, a day after the closing ceremony.
Seychelles is competing in athletics, swimming, Judo, boxing, volleyball and weightlifting at the Games.
