IOIG Psychosocial committee works with coaches

The Psychosocial committee working in favour of the wellbeing of athletes for the upcoming Island Games targeted coaches in one of its session earlier this week.

This was done with a view to allow information and assistance to trickle down without the slightest delay, considering that coaches are in constant contact and communication with athletes.
Speaking at the session NSC CEO Marc Arissol stressed that coaches are foot soldiers in the endeavor to reach athletes at a more profound level than before, considering they are in primary contact with them and are more often than not considered a second parent to athletes.

He said they are better placed to bring forth information otherwise difficult for others, on a daily basis to athletes.
