Special Olympics delegation leave for Germany

The country’s delegation for the 2023 Special Olympics left the country en route for Berlin, Germany earlier today (Monday) where they are expected to compete in the 16th edition of the summer games.
 
The team of 10 was sent off in a special ceremony on Sunday, organised by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Family.
 
The ceremony took place in the present of Minster Marie-Celine Zialor, Principal Secretary Ralph Jean-Louis, NSC CEO Marc Arissol and SOCGA President Antonio Gopal.
 
The Berlin games will unfold over eight days, from June 17 through to the 25th.
