Following the successful running of pilot projects for inter-school volleyball and basketball in 2023, NSC and the Ministry of Education will as of next year launch a formal inter-school league programme to be disputed year-round.
Competitions will be organised in under-15 and under-17 categories in volleyball, basketball and football, with a view to have a larger pool of young sport enthusiasts joining and performing different sports.
Details of these were agreed on this week during a meeting between the relevant partners, hosted by NSC.
Under the project, NSC and the Ministry of Education will bear the brunt of all expenses.
